Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you based?

We are based in Lytham St Annes in the Fylde, Lancashire, in the North West of England..

How long will it take to produce my video?

The exact time-scale depends on several factors, such as number and availability of filming locations etc, but as a rough guide we are normally able deliver the finished production within 3 weeks of filming.

Do you provide an editing service?

Yes we provide a full editing-only service and can add titles, music, and a voice-over as required. Prices depend on the complexity of the work involved, but as a general rule studio time in charged at £40.00 per hour.

Would it be possible to have a "still" image from the film on the front cover, and how much extra would that cost?

Yes you can have any image you like on the front cover, either a "still" image from the film, or if you prefer one of your own pictures or logos etc.. There is no extra cost for this.

What about copyright material?

Copyright law is a very complex area and unfortunately we can't transfer or duplicate copyright material without the owner's consent. By placing an order with us you accept full liability for any copyright issues that may arise.

Can you make DVD's which will play in other countries?

Yes we can produce DVDs on both the PAL and NTSC system. Simply let us know which country the DVD will be played in and we will supply you with the appropriate format (or both).

Do you copy protect the completed DVD?

No we do not copy protect the finished DVDs. This is your material, your memories and your DVD to do with as you wish. You may copy it a hundred times - without any loss of quality. Of course if you cannot copy yourself then we can always do it for you.

Should I upgrade to Blue ray?

Blue ray is the future for DVDs. However if you don't yet have an HD (high definition) TV watching Blu-ray discs is pointless as the signal is downgraded to standard definition. Also if you have an HD TV less than 37" it is difficult to see real quality benefits with HD,... and certainly there will only be tiny discernible differences between the two.
